We are located less than 1 mile from J7 of the M62, approximately 10 miles from Liverpool city centre and 20 miles from Manchester city centre.


PLEASE NOTE: Liverpool Lime Street station will be CLOSED from 2nd June - 29th July 2018 for major upgrade work. People coming to us from outside of the area will need to access us at Rainhill station via Warrington / Manchester / Wigan routes.

If you are travelling to us for coffee training courses then please allow plenty of time if coming by car. Traffic from Manchester can be particularly unpredictable. If there are others on your course we may need to start without you.

Our coffee shop overlooks Warrington Road, yet is within Dane Court Shopping Centre. There is ample parking at the rear at and Rainhill railway station is just 100m across from us. The bus stop is also immediately outside the shop.

PARKING - Parking is FREE on Dane Court Car Park which is on Weaver Avenue (turn into Exchange Place from Warrington Road). The first 2 hours are FREE, upto 3 hours is just 50p, over 3 hours is just £1 and there is ample FREE parking for rail users (the car park is council run so subject to change without notice so please double check the terms on arrival).

HOTELS - If you need accommodation to stay over, we suggest the Premier Inn Rainhill which is less than 1 mile away from the shop (walkable from the cafe and railway station) and just a few hundred metres from J7 M62.. Alternatively, The Village hotel Whiston or Hillcrest Widnes, Premier Inn Widnes, The Park Inn St Helens are all within a 10 minute drive.

For those attending evening training courses, we will at your request, escort you to back to your car or train.

The village has a good range of amenities including supermarket with cash machine, post office, restaurants and pubs, cocktail bar etc.

Rainhill Village is a historic village made famous by Stephenson's Rocket which was selected as the worlds first modern steam locomotive at the Rainhill Trials of 1829. The station at Rainhill is still used as a main line to Liverpool and Manchester. The station house is in fact a listed building and has being restored in 2011. Rainhill railway station was formerley known as Kendrick's Cross.

We are also situated just a couple of miles from Dream sculpture St Helens. If you are visiting Dream as part of an excursion, day out or simply for a leisurely walk, then be sure to call in for coffee or lunch.
